Locate your classroom
If you don't know where the classroom is located for your lectures and exams, you can download LLN Maps (currently only available for Apple), where you just enter the name of the classroom on the app and it will show you where it is located.
You can find the adresses of the different buildings on UCL's site : here
Otherwise, you can simply type on Google Maps “locaux UCL” + the name of the building.
Studyinng and exams
As in all Europe, Belgian universities organise 2 exam sessions : one in January and one in June. However, something rather specific to Belgium is the “blocus”. The latter is a period of two weeks before the start of the exams, during which you do not have any classes anymore, and you can fully dedicate your time to study. Depending on the faculties, options, luck, etc. it can be quite intense, so don’t underestimate your amount of work !
The cheating code to pass your exams
Wirenotes is a website on which students from francophone Belgian universities post and share their notes about some classes. It’s free access, you just need to create an account. It can be very useful if you didn’t attend some classes !
